So I’m between moving and starting a new job, I’m going to be taking a break from this site for the next week or two. I do hopefully get internet set up in my new place on the 30th, so I should hopefully be back up by then.
Try not to forget about me until then. I’m going to keep updating my instagram though with shitty memes until then at https://www.instagram.com/placeholder_music/. So yeah, just keeping people in the loop.

German metalcore band Towers and Bridges have released their second EP Spirits to stream on YouTube.
I actually quite enjoyed this EP, with Towers and Bridges playing a faster style of metalcore (think Monument-era Miss May I) with Bury Tomorrow style clean vocals.
I thought this was a pretty good effort by Towers and Bridge, so let me know what you think!
The Menzingers have released a new music video for the title track off their latest album ‘After the Party.’
What do you guys think of this track?
In an interview with NorthJersey.com, Buddy Nielsen confirmed that a new Senses Fail album should be released in early 2018.
Buddy had this to say about the new album:
“It sounds like if there was a record between ‘Let It Enfold You’ and ‘Still Searching, it’s like a bridging of the gap,” he said. “It will have a very energetic sound that still retains some of the darkness of that time. It’s a way of revisiting the past but with a new twist.”
What do you all think? Would you rather an album with a throwback sound to their older material or do you prefer their newer, hardcore sound?
